Zusammenfassung:Using a motion capture system with a camera and computer arrangement, performing gait analysis of a person using machine learning (artificial intelligence) to automatically diagnose frailty. Video is taken of patients and used as input and a human pose estimation software retrieves coordinates of body parts which are then transformed into signals and movement histograms to be used as feature descriptors. The camera and software work in a high frames per second rate and thus lead to greater accuracy. No marker-based (i.e. wearable markers/devices) motion capture is needed, meaning the method of diagnosing frailty is less invasive.
