Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a shuttering system 1 and a method of constructing a structure using this shuttering system. The system comprises: a shutter member comprising: a first wall 3 with a first side 3a adapted to restrain a mass of settable material during formation of the structure and a second side opposite the first side. The shutter also includes a base 5 extending away from the second side 3b of the first wall 3, and a second wall 6 extending from the base. At least one separate brace member 9 extends up the first wall 3. At least one separate tie 8 comprises first and second engagement means 15, 13, 10. In use the at least one tie 8 passes through apertures in both the brace member and the first wall. A second engagement means 10 of the at least one tie engages with the second wall of the shutter member and with the first engagement means 15 of the tie engaging with the at least one brace member 9.
