Marker pixel wicking apparatus

Disclosed is a method of drawing pixel artwork or designs. A wicking apparatus (110, fig 7) comprising a planer base (112, fig 7) formed of a first material and a plurality of wicking protrusions (114, fig 7) extending outward from said base (112, fig 7). Each of the plurality of wicking protrusions (114, fig 7) comprising a wicking surface. Using at least one donor solution source (120, fig 11) comprising a respective donor solution and placing the donor solution source (120, fig 11) on the wicking surface of one of the plurality of wicking protrusions (114, fig 7) for a sufficient amount of time such to saturate the wicking surface with the first donor solution. There may be further donor solutions each pertaining to different colours and may be in the form of a marker pen or felt tip. There may also be an eraser tool (122, fig 12) with the ability to remove the donor solution from the wicking surfaces (114, fig 7).
