Zusammenfassung: | A water permeable sports surface such as a tennis court comprises a porous substrate 5 on which there is a porous rubber shock layer 3 on which is at least one layer of an acrylic composition 1, 2. The acrylic composition comprises a two pack water based polyurethane which may include a first component comprising an organic solvent-free aqueous dispersion of copolymer based on an aliphatic polycarbonate polyurethane and a polyacrylate. A second component may be a water miscible polyisocyanate and the first and second components are blended with a water based acrylic. The porous substrate may be a bituminous or tar derived material and the shock layer may be formed from bonded rubber granules. An adhesive 4 may bind the substrate to the shock layer. The acrylic composition may be spray applied in two applications. A method of producing a porous court surface comprises the step of providing a shock layer on top of a porous substrate, and the shock layer may be treated with a detergent. |
