Zusammenfassung:A flow-through heater has a thick film heating element (11, figure 2) and a channel plate 10 attached to the thick film heating element to form a fluid channel (12, figure 1) therebetween. A printed circuit board (PCB) 7 is connected to the heating element by one or more connectors 3, each having a first end 3a connected directly to the PCB and a second end 3b comprising a spring making electrical contact with the thick film heating element. Ideally the/each first end comprises a pin that makes a push-fit connection into a corresponding aperture within the PCB. The PCB may be mounted directly to - but spaced from - the heating element, or alternatively be mounted to the heating element via a bracket 8 such that the connector(s) are each supported within a respective partition (13, figure 4) of the bracket.
