Zusammenfassung:	At least a portion of a wellbore region can be sealed using a packer that includes a dicyclopentadiene (DCPD) polymeric resin. The resin can be molded onto a tubular. The DCPD packer can swell in response to being exposed to hydrocarbon fluid at a temperature greater than the glass transition temperature of the DCPD resin to seal an annular region between the tubular and the wall of the well or casing string.
