Multi-motion appliance

Disclosed are power tools, such as motorised cleaning tools 100, comprising a pin 132 which causes oscillating or reciprocating motion of an accessory. In one embodiment, the power tool comprises two shafts with corresponding gears 124, and a rotating member 134 driven by one of the shafts. A yoke is driven by the other shaft and moves the pin. An oscillating link is moved by the pin to cause oscillatory motion of the accessory. The oscillating link may have a slot to receive the pin, and the pin may have a corresponding portion that extends beyond a surface of the oscillating link to cause reciprocating motion. In an alternative embodiment, the power tool comprises a rotating member which can be attached to a rotating accessory and an oscillating member 160 which can be attached to an oscillating accessory. The pin outputs reciprocating motion to a reciprocating accessory. A motor drives the rotating member, the oscillating member, and the pin such that the rotating, oscillating and reciprocating motions are output simultaneously by the power tool.
