Zusammenfassung:An actuator comprises a beam between fixed and movable ends of the actuator, a first contact 1110b on the fixed end, a second contact 1110a on the moveable end and electrically coupled to the beam, and a shape memory alloy (SMA) material, such as a wire or ribbon, coupled with the first and second contacts. A centre feed (1204, figure 12) may be arranged between the first and second contacts, electrically isolated from the beam and electrically coupled to a contact layer. Instead, the first contact may supply current to the SMA material. The SMA material may be electrically coupled to the first and/or second contacts using a resistance weld covered with a bond adhesive. An actuator system may comprise four, eight or twelve actuators. An autofocus system may comprise more than one actuator system.
