Zusammenfassung: | A system utilising a riser monitoring and lifecycle management system (MLMS) 324. There is a first riser component (Figure 12) within a riser assembly 310 on which a sensor 318 and communication system 322 is disposed. The communication system 322 is coupled to the sensor 318. A second riser component within the riser assembly does not have any sensors disposed thereon. A MLMS 324 is communicatively coupled to the communication system 322 and comprises a processor (490, Figure 24), memory (492, Figure 24) and database (496, Figure 24). The MLMS 324 receives a signal indicative of an identification of the first riser component and receives signals from the communication system 322 containing data detected by the sensor 318 and indicative of properties of the first riser component. The MLMS 324 receives operator inputs containing identification information and properties associated with the second riser component. The MLMS 324 stores data indicative of the properties of the first and second riser components with the identification of the first and second riser components in the database (496, Figure 24). |
