Zusammenfassung:A time of flight (ToF) camera comprises a multipixel sensor and a light source and is arranged to emit illumination having a spatially non uniform (light) intensity over the field of view of the sensor. An actuation mechanism moves the illumination across at least part of the field of view of the sensor, thereby enabling generation of a three-dimensional (3D) representation of a scene (e.g. by combining plural initial (sub)frames to provide final frames having a frame rate of at least 30 frames per second). The sensor has a native frame of at least 60 frames per second, and this may be at least 100, or 200, frames per second (fps). A frame combining algorithm may be used that does not actively compensate for motion in the scene. The ToF camera aims to reduce motion blur due to frame stacking, for example in High Dynamic Range (HDR) cameras.
