Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	An oral treatment device for use in treating an oral cavity of a user comprising an inertial measurement unit IMU, a contact member operable to be in contact with teeth of the user during use of the oral treatment device and a controller. The controller is configured to receive from the IMU a signal indicating a vibrational characteristic of the oral treatment device during use of the oral treatment device. The vibrational characteristic is dependent on contact between the contact member and the teeth vibrational characteristic being dependent on contact between the contact member and the teeth. The controller is configured to process the signal to detect an interproximal gap between adjacent teeth in the oral cavity of the user. The controller is configured to, during the use of the oral treatment device, control the oral treatment device to deliver a treatment to the detected interproximal gap. A computer program for controlling the oral treatment device is also provided.
