Zusammenfassung:	A method of manufacturing a rotor body 3 forming part of a rotor sail 4 comprises the steps of winding first fibres (14, Fig 2) around a mandrel (16, Fig 2) to form a tubular first skin (12, Fig 2) forming a rotor tube (2, Fig 2) having a tube axis, forming a plurality of strips (22, Fig 3) from second fibres and attaching the strips to a surface of the first skin such that at least some of the second fibres extend axially along the rotor body. A rotor body forming part of a rotor sail, formed using the method is also disclosed.
