Zusammenfassung:	A heat storage device 100 for an air conditioner, the heat storage device having a phase change material (PCM) 102, a plurality of thermally conductive elements 104 and a heat spreader 106 in thermal contact with the thermally conductive elements and a heat exchanger of the air conditioner system. The thermally conductive elements are embedded within the PCM and may be an array of fins that extend from the heat spreader in a regular polygonal shape, such as a honeycomb structure. The thermally conductive elements may also have laterally extending projections (314, fig 6) or be formed of a single folded material. The heat spreader and thermally conductive elements may form part of a mechanical encapsulation for the PCM in combination with a casing.
