Zusammenfassung:An actuation assembly 51 may move a pressure manifold 50 into and out of contact with a plurality of microfluidic devices 10. The pressure manifold 50 has integrated valves, e.g. Schrader valves. The microfluidic devices 10 may be disposable perfusion manifolds. Hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders 52, electrical motors, magnets, or manual control; may move the pressure manifold 50 up and down; to releasably engage with the microfluidic devices 10. The actuation assembly 51 may be part of a device for perfusing cells in a culture module (30, fig 8). The pressure manifold 50 may have a mating surface with pressure points corresponding to filtered ports on a cover for the microfluidic devices 10. The mating surface may have alignment features for an engaging microfluidic device 10. Elastomeric membranes may contact the microfluidic devices 10. The culture module may accept one or more trays of microfluidic devices.
