Zusammenfassung:There is disclosed a method comprising: providing an optical cable 712 coiled about a bobbin 704 at a first location in a wellbore in a subsurface formation, wherein a first end of the optical cable is communicatively coupled to a data processing system; pumping a first fluid through the wellbore, wherein a second end of the optical cable is dragged through the wellbore via the pumped first fluid, possibly using a dart 702; and monitoring, with the data processing system, a first wellbore condition based on a signal transmitted via the optical cable 712 at least while the optical cable is dragged through the wellbore. A related apparatus is also disclosed.
