Zusammenfassung:A system and method of operating on-site energy, the system and method comprising a central platform 300 and a plurality of on-site gateway devices 400 that perform on-site control of energy assets 500. The system calculates site load curves to indicate predicted loads throughout a day based existing data 200 such as historical meter and billing data, as well as market or weather data before performing portfolio optimisation as a function of the load curves. A set of site-level schedules are generated using the portfolio optimisation and used by a gateway apparatus to facilitate the use of on-site energy assets instead of grid-supplied energy. The gateway apparatuses are configured to provide instructions to allow this control of on-site energy assets in real-time or near real-time.
