A method of providing audio to a vehicle comprising processing two audio channels ()12 and 14) to generate first (16 & 20) and second (18 & 22) signals for each channel, supplying the first and second signals to respective front (31 & 34) and back (32 & 33) speakers of two pairs of speakers to generative propagation patterns for each pair, wherein the loudspeaker pairs are angularly displaced with respect to each other and wherein the forward component of the propagation patterns (302 & 304) are directed towards a reflecting surface of the vehicle, such as a windscreen or a window. The speakers may be substantially co-planar and the longitudinal axes extending out from the center of each speaker may parallel. The speakers may be mounted into the dashboard of a car in an upwards direction.
