Zusammenfassung:	A water heater with a water tank mechanism (100, fig 1) and an expansion mechanism 200, the water tank mechanism comprises a tank body (120) assembly that defines a water-containing cavity, a water outlet pipe (110) and a water inlet pipe. The expansion mechanism is connected to the water tank mechanism and is in communication with the water outlet channel 111 so that when the water heater is outputting water, a negative pressure is created at the position where the expansion mechanism is connected to the water outlet channel, causing water within a expansion cavity 221 to be discharged out. The water outlet channel may comprise three portions 1111, 1112, 1113 of successively smaller diameters. The expansion mechanism may comprise an omega shaped or Ω shaped membrane that separates upper and lower chambers, or an exhaust port 210 connected to a float tube 240.
