Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A control system for ablutionary devices such as a tap, faucet, or shower, comprises mixing valve 118 having one or valve members each arranged to receive a respective water supply via supply inlets 134, 136, and an output 138 for supplying water to ablutionary devices downstream of the valve, the one or more valve members being arranged to control the flow of water between the one or more supply inlets and the output; one or more temperature sensors 150, 154a, 154b generate temperature signals indicative of the temperature of the water supply upstream of any one or more of the valve members and/or the output water downstream of the one or more valve members; and controller 120 in communication with the one or more temperature sensors. The controller obtains temperature signals from the temperature sensors when the ablutionary devices are not in use and generates an indicator signal based on a comparison of the one or more temperature signals to one or more thresholds. The thresholds may be low or high temperature thresholds. The indicator signal may indicate that the water temperature is greater than a maximum safe operating ambient temperature of the control system
