Multiple function/feature selection system, function/feature selection method and emergency luminaire

A mode selecting system for an emergency luminaire that comprises a mode selecting device 1 and a plug device 4. Mode selecting device 1 includes a control circuit 2 with input terminals 15, 16. Control circuit 2 measures voltages applied to each of the input terminals 15, 16 and selects an operation mode based on the measured voltages. The mode selecting device further includes a jumper block 3 with at least three socket connectors 8, 9, 10 and a connecting circuit 5 configured to electrically connect the socket connectors with the input terminals. The plug device 4 connects mechanically with the jumper block 3 and comprises at least three plug connectors 11, 12, 13 configured to connect electrically with the socket connectors 8, 9, 10 of the jumper block. The mode selecting system is characterized by the plug device 4 comprising at least one resistor 7, wherein the plug device 4 arranges the at least one resistor 7 for connecting electrically two of the plug connectors.
