Apparatus for disinfectant of enclosed spaces

A disinfecting apparatus comprises a generation unit and a fogging assembly remotely positioned from the generation unit and configured to be in direct communication with a space to be disinfected. The generation unit comprises: a storage tank for liquid disinfectant 1; a pump 9; a first outlet for pressurised liquid disinfectant 4; and a second outlet for pressurised air 6. The fogging assembly (11, fig. 3) comprises: a first inlet for pressurised liquid disinfectant and a second inlet for pressurised air ; a mixing valve for mixing flows from the first and second inlets; and a diffusing nozzle for receiving mixed flow from the mixing valve and dispersing a disinfectant fog into the space to be disinfected. Preferably there is a hose assembly (12, fig. 3) comprising quick release couplings for connecting the outlets of the generation unit to the inlets of the fogging assembly. There may also be at least one filter assembly 3, such as a removable cartridge filter, disposed between the storage tank 1 and the outlet for pressurised liquid disinfectant 4.
