Zusammenfassung:	A hand sanitiser unit comprising a frame 2; foot pedal 4 connected to a pivot; drive rod 8 displaced along a length axis and its first end connected to the pedal; support plate 11 connected to the second end of the drive rod, with a portion substantially perpendicular to the length axis to support a sanitiser volume 18; and, fixed end stop 12 arranged on the opposite side of the support plate to the pedal, and spaced apart from the support plate to accommodate dispenser 17 between. The pedal may comprise an adjustment screw that limits the range of pivot. A hollow container 16 may enclose the support plate, end stop, and drive rod, with the foot pedal extending through the container wall. The container may comprise fire retardant material, preferably ceramic fibre board. A fire extinguisher may be arranged within the container and activated above a threshold temperature.
