Hand sanitiser dispenser

A hand sanitiser dispenser 20 comprising: a hoop or U-shape (fig. 4A and 4B) with one or more inwardly directed apertures 28 to direct the sanitiser to a person's hand(s) placed within the hoop or U-shape; and a container 32 containing the sanitiser connected to the aperture(s) 28. There may further be an integrated monitor (1, fig. 2A) in association with a hand sanitiser dispenser 20, the monitor (1, fig. 2A) having a first sensor (10, fig. 2A) giving a visual, aural or other output on detection of a person. The output may be illuminating or flashing LEDs (14, fig. 2A) or a sound emitted by a speaker (13, fig. 2A). The monitor (1, fig. 2A) may sense dispensing of sanitiser and provides an alert when the need to replenish or replace the sanitiser 32 is identified. This can be done by detecting the number of uses, length of time of use of hand sanitiser, or by weighing the sanitiser dispenser by a pressure pad (11, fig. 2A).
