Zusammenfassung:	A hydraulic drive system raises and lowers an object by supplying and discharging hydraulic oil to and from each of two ports of an actuator, and includes a control device, first to third electromagnetic proportional control valves, a hydraulic pump, a control valve, and a lock valve, wherein the control valve discharges the hydraulic oil from a first port to lower the object when a second pilot pressure is output, and the lock valve is disposed so as to be able to close between the first port and the control valve and prevent discharge of the hydraulic oil from the first port, and opens between the first port and the first control valve to enable the discharge of the hydraulic oil from the first port only when a third pilot pressure is output.
