Zusammenfassung:A system for treating an exhaust gas, comprises a diesel particulate filter (DPF) 204 with a first and a second filter 210, a decomposition chamber 220 with a reductant delivery system 230 downstream of the DPF, and a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) 240 catalyst downstream of the decomposition chamber. A sensor 212 is placed between the first and second filter of the DPF. Another embodiment comprises a sensor assembly 248 between a first and second catalyst of the SCR. In a further embodiment, the portions of the housing containing the DPF and the SCR have a first diameter, and the portion containing the decomposition chamber has a second diameter, the second diameter is less than the first. In all embodiments the DPF and the SCR share the same centreline axis i.e. coaxial.
