Steamer pan divider

A pan divider, for use in a set, comprises a container 200 with a circumferential side 230 and two radial sides 235A, 235B that define a sector shaped cross section, an open end 205 and a base 210 that comprises a baseplate. The container tapers outwards from the base towards the open end of the container and the circumferential side and/or radial sides are perforated. The divider may comprise a handle 300 movable between an upright position and a lateral position, the handle may have a plastic handle sleeve. The juncture between the base plate and both radial sides may be formed by a welded seam. At the open end of the container the circumferential edge circumferential side is folded to create a circumferential rim 245, and the radial sides may be folded to define two radial rims 250A, 250B. A method of producing the divider is envisaged wherein a net is welded and a tube lip is formed.
