Zusammenfassung:Conveying apparatus for conveying dry bulk solids comprises an enclosed conduit 6 and a plurality of discs 620 inside the conduit for urging solids through the conduit when moved, a motor and rotor 640 driven by the motor to urge the discs within the conduit. A housing 660 including an outlet 622 for the solids, fastened to the conduit, and a rotatable cutter mounted to the rotor comprising one of more blades to cut foreign objects passing through the conveying apparatus. The cutter may comprise a plurality of blades, the discs may be mounted to a line 622 or chain where a recess 642 in a sprocket 640 engage the discs to rotate the line of discs through the conduit 6.
