Zusammenfassung:	A fish tape system 10 includes a fish tape 12 and a case 14 having a storage compartment 26 that stores the fish tape for deployment from the case. The fish tape includes a luminescent material that emits light after being energized by exposure to a light source 24, which may be sun or a light emitting element. At least a portion of the case, such as the sidewalls 34, 36, is transparent to allow the fluorescent material to be energized by light passing through the transparent portion and into the storage compartment.
