Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:	A kit for installing a tip seal (18, 19, fig 2) on a nose 14 of a gasoline direct injection (GDI) fuel injector 10, the nose having a substantially cylindrical shape and a slot(s) (16, figure 1) shaped to be covered by the seal. The seal is deformable, and the kit comprises at least one of a mounting cone(s) 20, or a tip seal pusher 30, or a tip seal fitting cylinder 50. The kit may comprise a first and second mounting cones, the first receives a first tip seal around an outer surface (26, fig 3), the second receives a second tip seal around the outer surface, wherein a length of the first mounting cone is longer than a length of the second mounting cone. A method of installation is also claimed which includes placing the first tip seal around the outer surface of a mounting cone, partially inserting the cone in a hole (35, fig 5) of the pusher, pushing a tip seal along the outer surface of the mounting, extracting the nose from the pusher, inserting the nose in the fitting cylinder, applying a rotational movement to the cylinder and extracting the nose from the cylinder.
