Zusammenfassung:	A hogbend support 52 for a subsea riser 10 has at least two support elements 32 coupled to allow pivotal movement. Each support element has a riser support 36 in the form of an open-ended gap or trough between buoyancy volumes 36, and coupling formations 40 to allow the pivotable coupling between support elements. The buoyancy volumes may be substantially symmetrical, and may be separate or in fluid communication with each other. The open-ended gap or trough may be formed between downwardly-depending walls, these walls having an angle of between 50 to 80 degrees to the horizontal.
