Zusammenfassung:A compressor comprising a housing which may be cylindrical, within which a stator assembly and a rotor assembly are located. The housing comprises first, and second ends and an air inlet located between the first and second ends which may be located on a curved surface of the housing and spaced away from both ends of the housing. The compressor further comprises a flow guide disposed within the air inlet and configured to split the air flowing through the inlet into first and second airflows 118, 120 that flow towards the first and second ends of the housing respectively. The compressor may comprise a plurality of inlets with one flow guide or a plurality of flow guides. The flow guide and housing may be separate components that are attached by fixing means that could be a clip or a plurality of clips. The flow guide may be obliquely angled relative to the clips. The compressor may comprise a control circuit disposed at the first end of the housing. The rotor assembly may comprise a magnet and bearings. The stator may comprise one phase winding wound around at least one stator core.
