Zusammenfassung:	An adapter 100 for connecting a flowline to a subsea tree has an adapter base 20, a first connection element 30 for connecting to a fluid line connector on the subsea tree and a flowline connector assembly 40 for connecting to an end portion of the flowline. The fluid line connector and the flowline connector assembly are attached to the adapter base. The adapter assembly is configured for connecting to the subsea tree through the first connection element. A retractable guide member 46 may assist in connecting a flowline to the adapter. The adapter may comprise a frame for supporting the subsea tree. The wellhead fluid line connector may be vertical or horizontal, while the flowline connector may also be vertical or horizontal.
