Zusammenfassung:A cover 10 for a ground surface access assembly 100, in the form of a tray 16. It is mountable in a base frame 12 and the tray has a plurality of planar, upstanding walls 18. The cover comprises a lifting device 22 on an outer surface 24 of each of two opposing walls. The cover walls may define an area 28 for receiving infill material (30, fig. 4). The lifting device may be movably mounted and when the cover is mounted in the base frame a gap (36, fig. 2) is defined between the two opposing walls and the corresponding frame walls, wherein the lifting device is retractably mounted within the gap. The lifting device may be mounted to the tray by a fixing member 40 extending through a slot 42 in the lifting device. A rim 44 may extend from the outer surface of the two opposing walls and across the gap and when retracted the lifting device is aligned with the rim. The lifting device may comprise a lever 50 to misalign the lifting device and rim. There are further independent claims for a ground surface access assembly and method of infilling a cover.
