Hand-held integral airbrush

Hand-held airbrush 10 having an integral air pump 32 for supplying compressed air to the airbrush spray nozzle 23. A linkage block (Fig 7, 52), connected to a trigger-like button 50, controls the opening size of the nozzle 12, which may be through retracting a needle valve (Fig 5, 27). The button 50 may further comprise another linkage (Fig 7, 51) connected to a switch 40 for actuating the air pump 32. A third linkage (Fig 7, 53) may connect the button 50 with a push-latch self-locking rebound device 70 so the airbrush 10 remains on without having to press the button 50 continuously. The airbrush may be powered by a rechargeable battery 80 through a circuit board 90, and a display screen 92 may display the state of the battery 80 and/or the air pump 32. The battery 80 may be charged through a charge port.
