Zusammenfassung:	Described is the effect of inulin on bile acid (BA) levels and the effects on colorectal cancer development and progression. Bile acids (deoxycholic [DC] & cheno deoxycholic acid [CDCA]) binding to inulin is used to treat colorectal cancer. Inulin reduces the occurrence of bile acids in cells, prevents transformation of cells to colorectal cancer and inhibits further progression to aggressive colorectal cancer cells.
