Voice alarm notification device

A voice alarm notification device 5 of a fire alarm system (1,fig.1) comprises: a network port 11 for receiving an alarm notification signal; an audio file library 15 in which the audio files include audio voice message files; a speaker 16; a processor unit 12 connected tothe network port for processing an alarm notification signal and for selecting one of the audio files from the library to be played through the speaker 16; and a Bluetooth® module 13 for establishing a Bluetooth® communication link to the voice alarm notification device 5, via which link an audio voice file can be received. The device 5 is arranged to add the audio voice file received via the Bluetooth® communication link to the library 15 so as to be available for selection by the processor unit 12 when it receives an alarm notification signal. The device 5 and the Bluetooth® module 13 may be temporarily paired.
