Zusammenfassung:The c-ring slip retention system (14) may use a lip portion (66) of a retention sleeve (24) to hold the c-ring slip (16) against a liner hanger body. The c-ring slip (16) may have a multi-load shoulder profile (22) that interfaces directly with a complementary profile formed in the liner hanger body (12). The disclosed retention system prevents the c-ring slip (16) from being prematurely extracted from a liner hanger body (12) while the liner hanger is lowered through a borehole. The c-ring slip retention system may include a first retention mechanism (26) and a second retention mechanism (28) used to secure the retention sleeve (24) to the liner hanger body (12).
