Zusammenfassung: | A method of assessing operator emotional state includes tracking the operator, e.g. a pilot, using image sensor data, voice data or a biometric parameter. A likely emotional state is determined from a list of emotional states 131 by assigning probabilities 133 to each, for example based upon facial recognition software. An alert is sent if e.g. real-time pilot emotional state data deviates from baseline. The image sensor may reflect a pilot's eye or body movements, the biometric parameter may be based on breathing, heart rate or pulse and the voice data may indicate volume, tone and spoken content. For example if a pilot is determined to be very angry i.e. loud voice & darting eye movements, appropriate ground station people may be alerted. Also disclosed is a method of adjusting a flight crew before a planned flight if the pilot is stressed or angry when working with a specific crew. |
