Redundant links for reliable communication

An integrated circuit (410) comprising a first interface circuit (412-1) configured to communicate first frames including the information associated with a data stream from the integrated circuit to a receiving electronic device (112-1) via a first channel using a wireless-local-area-network, WLAN, communication protocol; and a second interface circuit (412-2) configured to communicate second frames including the information associated with the data stream from the integrated circuit to the receiving electronic device (112-1) via a second channel using the WLAN communication protocol. The second channel is different than the first channel. The second frames are communicated from the integrated circuit (410) to the receiving electronic device (112-1) concurrently with the first frames. The integrated circuit (410) is configured to provide an instruction addressed to the receiving electronic device (112-1) to use the first channel during the communication of the first frames and to use the second channel during the communication of the second frames.
