Zusammenfassung:An operator interface of a run-time environment of a process plant receives an indication of an override of an instance of a graphic element object. An override definition is generated and stored separately from a stored configuration of the graphic element object instance. The override definition is therefore available for use separately from the graphic element object instance. During run-time, the override definition is applied to the graphic element object instance, thereby generating a modified graphic element object instance. During run-time, the modified graphic element object instance is executed in the display object instance.
