Zusammenfassung: | Ablutionary device 1, such as a shower head, with body 2, perforated plate 3, retaining means 4, and interior passage 5. Body 2 and retaining means 4 are separated by seal 8. Plate 3 is located within an aperture 7 of retaining means 4, and water flows out of passage 5 through plate 3 via aperture 7. Plate 3 is rotatable, via an intermediate position, between one position in which its first face is outward-facing, and a second position in which its second face is outward-facing, and can be locked in any of these positions by retaining means 4. This permits cleaning and ventilation of passage 5, which reduces the build-up of harmful microorganisms. Plate 3 has a rotation axis perpendicular to, and extending from the centre of, its two faces. Retaining means 4 and the faces of plate 3 each have at least one marking that can be aligned to indicate their relative rotations. Also disclosed are methods for cleaning an ablutionary device. |
