Zusammenfassung: | A method of uplink data transmission from a UE to a base station in a wireless cellular communications network utilizing a non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) protocol is disclosed. A user equipment (UE) selects a modulation coding scheme (MCS) for use with an uplink data transmission and includes an indication of the selected MCS in an uplink transmission. The uplink transmission utilizes a grant-free transmission protocol. The MCS may be selected from a subset of MCS, the subset being a set selected from a larger set available to the UE. The indication may be sent in an uplink control information report. The MCS may be selected based on the performance of a previous set of uplink grant-free NOMA transmissions or downlink performance information obtained from a downlink synchronization. |
