Golf club and golf club head structures

Disclosed is a golf club head 200 comprising a body 202 having: a ball striking face 211 defining a plane; a rear 212 opposite the ball striking face 211; a crown 214; a sole 215; a heel 218; and a toe 216. The body 202 further comprises: a void 230 defined by a peripheral edge 238 on the sole; and a cover 250 that extends over the void 230 to form at least a portion of the crown 214. At least a portion of the peripheral edge 238 comprises a lip 247 that extends inwardly into the void 230. The golf club head 200 further comprises first 242A and second 242B weight receptacles connected to the sole 215 and having an opening 243 in the sole 215. The first 242A and second 242B weight receptacles 242 are receiving tubes extending from the crown 214 to the sole 215, defining first and second weight receptacle axes. The weight receptacles axes are angled with respect to a vertical axis V of the golf club head 200. The golf club head 200 also includes first and second walls extending from crown to sole which separate the void 230 from an interior cavity.
