Zusammenfassung:	A method and a controller for enabling control of a second vehicle system associated with a control device 15 located in a vehicle are provided. The method comprises detecting a hand 17 of a vehicle occupant within a volume of space 16 within the vehicle cabin; determining the relative position of the detected hand 17 with respect to the control device 15; and enabling control of the second vehicle system in dependence on a distance between at least a portion of the hand 17 and the control device 15 being less than or equal to a predefined threshold distance. A controller, a system and a vehicle including means by which the method may be carried out (e.g. via a computer program) are also disclosed.
