Zusammenfassung: | The present sensor relates to distributed fibre optic sensors based on the phenomenon of Brillouin light scattering, which use an optical fibre as a sensing element, and can be used for measuring the distribution of mechanical stresses and/or temperature with a high degree of accuracy and a high spatial resolution. A distributed fibre optic sensor for measuring deformation and/or temperature using the phenomenon of Brillouin scattering contains two sources of optical radiation, a sensitive optical fibre, and an optical radiation detector, wherein the sensitive optical fibre is connected to a first source of optical radiation and to the optical radiation detector by two mutually insulated line links of a fibre optic transmission line having a length that is not less than half of the length of the sensitive optical fibre. The technical result is an increase in the distance to remote measuring regions, a reduction in measuring time, and an increase in signal-to-noise ratio. |
