Zusammenfassung: | A flameless candle includes a candle body 110 forming an interior region containing a light source 150. A force-inducing portion 122 such as an electromagnet or electric motor is configured to alternatively induce a first mechanical force and a second mechanical force. A flame-shaped projection screen 120 receives the first mechanical force and responsively moves to a first folded position and receives the second mechanical force and responsively moves to a second upright position. When the projection screen is moved to the second position, the light source is automatically energized so that light is emitted onto the projection screen. When the projection screen is moved to the first position, the light source is automatically de-energized such that light is not emitted. A lens and pendulum arm (132, 134, Fig. 4) may be swung by an electromagnet to sweep light from the light source 150 onto the projection screen 120. The light source 150 may itself be controlled to achieve a flickering flame effect. |
