An ancillary device for an open refridgerated display case

Disclosed is an ancillary device for attachment to a shelf of an open refrigerated display case. The device comprises a flow controlling module 104, and a plurality of brackets 106a,106b. The flow controlling module comprises an elongate element, and a plurality of sleeves 110a,110b connected thereto. Each bracket comprises an attachment portion for attachment to a shelf, and an arm portion extending from the attachment portion, the arm portion of each bracket being received in one of the sleeves on the flow controlling module. The flow controlling module may comprise outer and inner elongate elements 108a,108b, spaced apart from each other by a plurality of spacers, wherein the spacers are hollow and form the sleeves. Also disclosed is an ancillary device in which each bracket comprises a clamp portion for clamping the device to the shelf, and an arm portion extending from the clamp portion to the flow controlling module. The clamp portion comprises first and second clamping elements defining upper and lower clamping surfaces.
