Zusammenfassung: | The temperature of a building 10 is controlled by a temperature control apparatus. Electrical energy generated by a generator 26 is stored in an energy store 30 and a heat transfer fluid circulates in a heat transfer system to cool the generator 26 and regulate the temperature of the energy store 30. Heat from the heat transfer system is transferred to a building heating system via a heat exchange system 24. The heat exchange system 24 may comprise a generator heat exchanger and an energy store heat exchanger. The heat transfer system may be a closed circuit with a fixed quantity of heat transfer fluid. The energy store 30 may be coupled to an electricity supply grid and may supply electricity to the grid or store electricity supplied from the grid. The temperature control apparatus may also comprise an electric vehicle battery charger 32. A control apparatus and method of using heat transfer fluid to cool an electricity generator and charge an electric vehicle battery, and a control apparatus and method of operating an electric vehicle battery charger are also claimed. |
