Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A pace monitor module suitable for managing pace of play on a golf course comprises: a first sensor assembly that detects at least one moving object at a predetermined range from the module; a second sensor assembly that detects the orientation or location of the module; at least one transceiver to transmit and receive radio signals; a power source; a signalling device and a controller; wherein the controller controls power to the second sensor assembly and the transceiver in response to a signal from the first sensor assembly and a play time is measured from the time of a detected change in orientation or location of the module and a previous time supplied via the transceiver; wherein an information signal is provided if the measured time is greater than a threshold. The module is preferably secured to a golf flag or pin and detects tilting of the flag when removed from a golf hole cup. The first sensor is preferably a motion sensor that detects the proximity of a golf player.
