Zusammenfassung:An antifouling coating composition comprises (i) acrylate polymer containing at least 50 wt.% (meth)acrylate monomers, (ii) zinc phosphate, (iii) optionally zinc oxide, and (iv) optionally rosin and/or a rosin derivative. Typically, the acrylate polymer contains at least 90 wt.% (meth)acrylate monomers and does not comprise silicon-containing monomers. The acrylate polymer may have the formula H2C=C(R1)C(=O)OR2, wherein R1 is hydrogen or methyl, and R2 is a metal cation such as Cu2+ or Zn2+, hydrogen, optionally-substituted C1-18 alkyl, a heterocycle, or (CH2CH2O)nR4, wherein R4 is C1-4 alkyl and n is 1-20. The composition preferably comprises 3-40 wt.% zinc phosphate and 1-25 wt.% zinc oxide, wherein the ratio of zinc phosphate to zinc oxide may be 0.8:1 to 1:8. The composition typically comprises a marine antifouling agent, a solvent, and a silyl ester copolymer. A paint comprising the composition is also disclosed.
